We have a customer that has had a persistent problem with the memory model memory size differences between the Bluetopia stack and the TI drivers. The TI drivers are large memory model and the Bluetopia stack is small memory model. They tried CCS configurations to resolve the problem and none worked. Eventually Stonestreet One provided a large memory model version of Bluetopia BT stack. This code was not released through the TI website so this customer is running on a custom version of Bluetopia. My concern is supporting them in the future. Beyond this I have some questions:
- Are other customers experiencing this problem?
- If other customers are experiencing this problem what are they doing to resolve it?
Looking forward how can this customer get back on the main line Bluetopia stack? Hopefully Stonestreet One will release the large memory model version of Bluetopia to TI to release on the website. If this does not happen would TI consider developing a small memory version of their drivers?
Thanks,
John
