We are using PAN1323ETU to evaluate BLE and bluetooth classic for our application. Class 1 or class 2 may be used in our application.
The followings are stated in thePanasonic's product spectfication:
This master product specification applies to Panasonic’s HCI, Class 1 or 2 (depending on output power register values), Bluetooth®1 module, series number: PAN1315 and their different versions.
However, I cannot find any information about "output power register" in CC256X data manual. I only find the following information from section 3.5.1.2 of the manual
The power amplifier is also digitally controlled.
It seems that the RF output power of CC256X can be controlled by software. Here is thw question
1) Can PAN1323ETU be configured as Class 1 as well as Class 2 device?
2) Can RF output power of PAN1323ETU changed by software?
3) If answer of question 2 is "yes", how can the RF output power be changed?
