Hi everyone,

I am using OAD support to upgrade my firmware on cc2541 chip.

My firmware size is around 140 Kbytes so to transfer full firmware it takes around 11 min(connection interval is set to 40 ms). I am using the iPhone as master device and that's why I may not be able to achieve the connection interval lesser that this.

Is there is any other way to speedup the upgrade process.

Hi Maulik,

I think you should be able to get slightly higher throughput to obtain a shorter update cycle but you'll still be stuck with several minutes. I've seen updates of 120kB done in 3-4 minutes. Have you written you own iOS app or are you using TI BLE MultiTool?

Hi Joakim,

I am using my own iOS app. I will try to use this TI BLE MultiTool iOS app and will check if I can found any significant difference in duration of update and speed.
