Hello,

I´ve just adquired cc2540 miniDK. I have no experience with bluetooth devices and I want to implement a small aplication that stores the measures from accelerometer in a table, my aplication uses these measures in an algorithm and, after processing, send them via bluetooth to usb dongle.

How do I have to implement the bluetooth transmission? I´m reading the reference guides but I´m having trouble understanding them (maybe because my English is not very good).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jordi,

In this case I would recommend that you set up the keyfob as a peripheral and the CC2540 USB dongle as the central. On the peripheral side, you should define a proprietary profile with an attribute based on accelerometer data. The central should then periodically read this attribute.

Alternatively, you can set up the keyfob to simply broadcast the data periodically if that fits with your application requirements. In that case you do not have to set up a connection.

Hi,

Thanks for your help!! I´ve readen the application examples, I´m making some progress understanding them but I still have doubts and I am in a hurry with this. Like I said after store data from accelerometer (around 1000 meassures) I want to send them to the dongle, could you say to me what function must be called to do the transmision of all these meassures?
