Hi,
I want to get the maximum distance between my central and my peripheral device. My scheme is really simple, when the link is disconnected, an alarm is set on both device. I already set the TX power to it's maximum level. My question is more about the relation between fast interval VS slave latency.
I'm pretty sure it is good to have a high slave latency to extend the range to it's maximum. It is from my understanding that if the link is somewhat poor and transmit works only half of the time, the slave latency will prevent a false disconnection.
I'm not sure where the two curves crosses. I mean, I guess having a very short connection interval is bad for long reach, but it is necessary to have a high slave latency count.
Anyone have already tried to find the perfect settings for a long reach application?
Best regards,
Jerome
