How to change data rate in CC2541 ?

Hi,

I am using CC2541F256.

I want to change data rate to 1 Mbps, 2Mbps and 250 KHz and i want to check it on Spectrum analyzer.

I tried to change it by changing MDMCTRL0 register value to 0x04,0x06 and 0x08.

but on spectrum analyzer i can't see any change in data rate.

Is there anything else we need to do for changing data rate ?

Are you using SmartRFStudio or are you loading your own program with IAR?

Have you tried doing this in SmartRF Studio?

You can export the register setting from the 'Register View' in the proprietary mode of the CC2541 and then use that to code in IAR
