Issue with CC2540DK leds on SmartRF05 board

Hello

I need to blink a led on the SmartRF05 board when i receive a packet (no matter the details, i will use it as a signal for time measurements) in the SimpleBLEPeripheral demo project.

I opened the project in IAR and inserted the HalLedSet instructions. Nothing Happened, so i used HalLedSet( HAL_LED_ALL, HAL_LED_MODE_OFF ) for test, but leds are still all turned on (exept for led4) . I tried to move the instruction at different points of the program flow, but the result is still the same.

It seems i have not control over them! Could anyone help me please?

Did you set the IOs to output first using HalLedInit()?

Yes. I am using the SimpleBLEPeripheral code provided by TI.

I also unmounted the jumpers connected between LEDs and User Interface. And yet, Button_1 can still turn LED4 on.

I am confused.

Can the P0, P1 and P2 ports have an influence on this?

Yes need to set the IO connected to the LED to the correct direction in the port (P1DIR). Then you can set the LEDs by writing to the P1 register to set the IO level high. for the various pins.

LED4 can turn on by pressing Button_1, the pin is shared.

Note that some of the signals are shared, e.g. EM_BUTTON1/EM_LED4_SOC. This means that
the signal is connected to different IO on the board, in this case both Button 1 and LED4.
Pressing Button 1 will affect the state of LED4. Similarly, if a SoC is toggling LED4, it cannot
read from Button 1 at the same time.
