CC2540 dk keyfob not discoverable

Having a problem making the keyfob discoverable. followed the steps in the guide but the slave bda remains none and also device found is 0. when i insert the battery in the keyfob i hear a buzzing sound however if i press the right button the led turns green. So i tried scanning when led is green and red no results. Please guys could you help me out here.

    Hello Muhammad,

    I believe you might have an old kit where the CC2540 keyfob haven't been pre-programmed. Please try to flash the keyfob using TI Flash Programmer. The image you should program is CC2540MiniDkDemoSlave.hex located at (default install directory) \BLE-CC254x-1.3.2\Accessories\HexFiles.

    The LED should be lit green briefly on start-up and then blink red when discoverable (upon button push)
