Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541, CC2540
The answer to this question determines the battery life of devices that spend most of their time unconnected, so it seems to me like the most relevant question for any cc2540/cc2541 developer. Since it does not seems logical to ask every developer to measure the power consumption by himself I would expect some official answer from TI employees. Yet, after searching the forum for hours and reading all relevant the application notes I still could not find the answer:
What is the cc2541 (or if someone has it for cc2540) average power consumption when advertising every second, and when advertising every 10 seconds ? (assuming no one is responding to the advertisement of course)
