Hello all,

I want to make a BLE network at home with a Texas instruments development kit. Which should I take? The Development kit or the mini Development kit? What is the difference between them? What is the difference between the CC2540 Development kit and the CC2541 development kit?

Is it true that I can only have 3 slaves in the network with the TI development kits?

In the mini development kit they speak about the proximity, I guess they mean the Proximity profile (PXP). Is PXP also in the development kit? And what about FMP (find me profile)?

    1. Mini kit is good enough. You can refer to http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru270c/swru270c.pdf and http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru301a/swru301a.pdf to tell the difference.

    2. CC2540  has USB capability but CC2540 not.

    3 . Yes, you can only connect to 3 slaves.
