How to connect a MSP430F5438A to a PAN1326?

the page provides a lot of information, an i should be able to find out what i am looking for.

i was wondering, that there is no description in the Demo-Apps, because each demo needs a specific wireing to work. for excample the LED-Blink-Demo shows directly where to connect the LED...
isn't there a detailed description for the bluetopia-demos?

Greetings Brandon,

I'm in dire need of assistance. I want to begin a project which I can integrate Bluetooth on a microcontroller and finally connect that microcontroller to an android device via Bluetooth. Firstly, I have little experience with microcontrollers, however, I have a MSP430G2 launch pad board which I have messed with a little and researched. Is this good to start with or do you recommend another? Next, I've researched some bluetooth modules such as the cc256x or PAN1323. Which would you recommend for the simplest procedure and low power ?

After having those two components, how do I interface the two? I'm sure there are documents showing steps on the hardware connectivity. Lastly, what softwares will I need to program the microcontroller and Bluetooth module? Also, I'm not much of a programmer, are there sample codes for this type of application or similar to this application in the TI website?

I've left posts on this e2e forum before and have received no response. Your help will be greatly appreciated Brandon. Thank very much in advance and I apologize for any inconvenience.

I would recommend you the EZ430-RF256x as a starting point.

thank you for the recommendation, I extremely appreciate it. However, due to time constraints my team and I chose to continue with the cc256xQFNEM. After reading the specs and viewing demos of it I notice it has demos with msp430EXP and not the Launchpad. I also read in order to integrate this Bluetooth module with the Launchpad (msp430g2) we will have to purchase a booster pack which is really inconvenient for us at the moment. Is there any way or are there any demos or documentation displaying a maneuver to connect the cc256xQFNEM with the lauchpad without having to use the boosterpack?

Also, if there is a way, do you know by any chance where I can find some code examples for the integration?

If you want to use the CC256xQFN EM board, you need to buy one of the Experimenter's board that are listed in the wiki shown above. That would be the easiest way.

I have one more questio, if I want to design my own circuit on a pcb with bluetooth. what main components would I need to achieve bluetooth? thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
