our problem is same as

This is commonly needed when the following issues arise:

1) Both LEDs are blinking on the MSP430F5438 Experimenter Board in the Accel application, indicating wrong Service Pack(SP) is being used.

2) Both LEDs are blinking on the EZ430-RF2560 or EZ430-RF256x application, indicating wrong Service Pack(SP) is being used.

3) An error in the Temp Application indicating the wrong service pack is being used when attempting to turn on the Bluetooth.

how to over come from it please help us

Hi Abigail,

I hope you are using the transparent Mode and trying to use the “EZ430-RF256” without the Bluetopia stack.

If so check if you are missing any of the steps mentioned below

1. Getting the Service pack from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_Downloads

2. Use the Hardware Evaluation tool to downloaded the Service pack http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_PC_tool#A_Quick_Tour_of_the_CC256x_Bluetooth_Hardware_Evaluation_Tool

Select the port
Select the Service pack you want to download
Select modify SP tab and disable sleep.
Select the Send SP tab and you send the service pack.

the ez430-rf256x kit consist of CD on content ,please send us the content (driver of demo in the cd).

please help

Hi Abigail,

There will be a executable in the CD which you have to run, that will install the drivers/package in (Install Folder:

C:\Texas Instruments\EZ430-RF256x SDK\GA 1.0)

But If your CD is empty please to contact the distributor to get the kit replaced. As this information cannot be share over forum.

NOTE: Can still use the KIT with Bluetopia stack, See http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_MSP430_Bluetopia_Basic_Demo_APPS

same problem as above user

where the usb target board's two LED are blinking continuously ,

as well as battery charge target board is not sync with the usb target board please

send the procedure for synking the device to work for DEMO game

and please send the required software for connection.

then another doubt the USB is detected in Device manager,but it not showed in task bar is there any problem.

And also note that this Demo game is based on Mindtree, Ethermind stack and Ti no longer provides the support for this stack.

Instead you can use the Stone Street One, Bluetopia stack. See http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_MSP430_Bluetopia_Basic_Demo_APPS

Where we few application already running on EZ430-RF256x.

If the port is enumerated in the device manager that should be fine.
