Hi Eirik,

I am beginner to this CC2541 Module

I have downloaded the above stack and BTtool tool was successfully installed .

We purchased CC2541-Q1 chip ( not Entire Module and we r trying to implement own antenna ) recently

My task is I want flash the stack into that chip . May I know exact step by step procedure how can I proceed with IAR IDE.

Please post new questions in a new thread.
You need to connect a debugger (CC-Debugger or SmartRF05EB)
With IAR you simply open the project and press crtl+d

Dear Eirik,

1) Is it possible to flash BLE stack ( CC2541-Q1 ) with CCS( code composer studio ) IDE . as you suggested only IAR IDE in CC2541-Q1 ( software developer user guide) datasheet.

2)When we build BLE sampled stack with IAR Trail version it is throwing an Error like ( Object code Exceeded ).con't we build with trail version ..?

3)Can you please provide the link for CC-Debugger ( CC2541-Q1 for purchase )

1) Only IAR is supported for the 8-bit RF MCU CC254x series.
2) The code size limited version of IAR (4 or 8 kB...) can not compile the ble-stack which is up to 128 kB in size. You will need to use the time-limited trial version of IAR or purchase a license.
