Btool data formats

I am using Btool for the simplebleperipheral project. Will I be able to view all the services, its characteristics, values and descriptor(in ascii)s together in the btool? Please let me know. I don't find options in the right click to change format to ascii.

Consider using the "BLE Device Monitor" software from TI, it has less features then the BTool program, but is much easier to understand and is more GUI driven. ( see http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BLE_Device_Monitor_User_Guide for directions, and a link to download).

The Raw Data format you see in BTool can be understood with TI's "TI_BLE_Vendor_Specific_HCI_Guide.pdf" document, which is installed when you install the BLE Stack on your PC. By manually calling the discover commands you can see the data in the lower window, but you must discover, and bind and search for services and characteristics on your own.

Another simple way to view service and characteristic descriptors is to download one of the free BLE aps to your iOS or Android device.

The device monitor is nice. But I get error windows in it. the error log shows

09:54:03.289 > Command Status: 01 FE80 [len=0]

And the disconnect in the device monitor did not work. Everything else is fine.
