Does Bluetopia stack allow for multiple masters in a connection simultaneously?

Searching through the forums it would seem that multiple masters in a single connection was not allowed at one time. However, the threads I read were all older.

Does the latest version of the Bluetopia stack allow for multiple masters in a connection simultaneously?

Brent,

Are you referring to Bluetooth Low Energy Slave to Master Connection? If so, a Slave can only connect to one Master. This is fixed according to the Bluetooth Core Specification.

Yes, I am referring to the Bluetooth Low Energy Slave to Master Connection.

So currently the Bluetopia stack supports the idea of only one Master. It sounds as if the specification has changed to allow more than one master. So eventually Stonestreet One will incorporate the multiple Master topology into their stack, correct?

Brent,

The 4.1 Specification allows LE Slaves to have 1 or more Masters simultaneously. This is more a function of the Bluetooth chip and therefore the stack will support this when TI provides support for 4.1 in their Bluetooth Chips.
