hello,

I have MSP-EXP430F5438 + PAN1323ETU. i have spp, spp+le demo working properly.

when i tried HFP profile i was able to connect to android phone and even answer the call using "answercall" in putty, but there is no audio coming out of the msp-exp4305438 audio jack nor the voice is send through the mic.. the mobile says "connected to audio phone" and hence no audio is coming out of the phone.

what am i doing wrong..??

i have connected all the jumbers.

Hi Hisham,

The demo is ONLY supported on the CC2564B (the CC2564 is not supported).

This demo does not have support for listening to the audio. There is no Codec hooked up to the PCM lines of the CC2564B which is where the audio comes from (the audio is not routed through the MSP430). The demo only supports establishing an audio (SCO) connection.

Hi,

I was purchased these boards(MSP-EXP430F5438 and CC256x EM). I was able to establish the SCO connection.
I need to evaluate the audio gateway role with HFP.

Is it possible to route audio through MSP430...?

if possible how i can route the audio...?

Hi,

As you can see from my previous post that It depends on what is the chip set you are using.

If you are using CC256xB(Assisted HFP 1.6 Architecture) then you can route the PCM lines to an external Codec.

Also keep in mind that you can use CC2564(HFP 1.6 Architecture) for HFP(without WBS). The voice data is available at the CC2564 PCM/I2S interface and be aware the the data should be decoded(hostprocresser) and you need an external CODEC for HFP.

also have look at the datasheet "3.5.4.1 Assisted HFP 1.6 (WBS)" section.
