Hi Anil,
The answer is 3, with our current CC254x solution. The reason is limitation in the RAM. Note that you do not necessarily have to be connected all the time, you could potentially connect/disconnect in a round robin manner and obtain a larger eco-system.
One of our module partners, BlueGiga, have written their own Host part of the stack and they can support up to 5 slaves (or even more) at the same time, I think.

Hi again,
let me also note that the slave limitation would be when using our BLE stack. If you are looking for a proprietary solution (one you would design yourself) you could obtain much more of course.
Furthermore, you could utilize Broadcaster and Observer modes and obtain 1000+ recievers although that's a one way communication system without re-transmit functionality nor security.
Depends on what you want to do. What do you want to do?
Best Regards
Joakim
