I have a few questions on the CC2564. I have these questions into TI application support but in my experience the suppliers cannot always answer these questions and we have had to test parts to learn what the capabilities are. I am interested in the low energy functionality of the cc2564. Here are the questions. 1. What is the minimum connection interval of the CC2564 in low energy mode? Can it support a 7.5ms connection interval? 2. How many packets can be sent per connection interval when the connection interval is at 7.5ms? 3. How many bytes per packet can be sent when at the 7.5ms connection interval.

Hi Troy Reller,

The minimum connection interval in LE is 7.5msec and yes it is supported.

Please check the Bluetooth specifications https://www.bluetooth.org/en-us/specification/adopted-specifications

you can the sessions HCI_LE_Create_Connection and HCI_LE_Connection_Update.

how many packets can be sent depend on size of the packet, please see the BT Spec for more details.

Thanks for the reply. I am not seeing where the information is in the Bluetooth specification that discusses packet size and packets per connection interval. Can you point me to a section? We are hoping to send 11 packets per CI, with a CI of 7.5ms, and a 20 byte payload per packet. If I am reading the specification correctly the entire packet will be 28 bytes with overhead. Is this possible?
