CC2451

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541

Hi all,

I am going to use CC2451 for an EEG signal to transfer it wireless. My EEG signal is about 1uV, and I need that ADC in the CC2451 to be set as 12 bit. My question is that how I should set the reference voltage and what the range of the reference voltage should be?

Thanks all

  • Hello Hadi,

    I guess you mean CC2541?

I am not to familiar with the subject, but It depends on the input noise and output impedance of the source of the signal. I think you will need something better as i suspect the signal amplitude might be even less than the input noise. I do not have to much knowledge on the subject, but have a look at a general TI guide:

ECG and EEG Applications Quick Reference Guide

Usually you set the reference voltage a little higher than the expected input peak.
