CC2541 ChkReset() function definition

Hi,

I am working on CC2541 chip set with BLE stack version 1.4. I am facing brown out reset problem. I looked into the code and found ChkReset(); API, which was commented in OnBoard.c file and definition is not available.

Can anybody provide me the definition for this API or any other way to check brown out condition ?

Hi Gaurav,

ChkReset() does not seem to exists. It seems like you can do a read from SLEEPSTA register (From CC254x Family User's Guide):

This information is helpful . But how to control the frequent reset to the MCU from brown out condition ?

Hi Gaurav,

Maybe I'm missunderstanding you but you cannot control a brownout, it's an external power supply issue. The register I suggested only allows you to find out if the reset was due to brownout.

What do you want to achieve?

Hi Joakim,

In my application there is a power on LED indication and it gets off after timeout .
But when brown out reset problem happens then LED remains on. I thinks processor gets hang in this state.

How to resolved this issue ?

Have you run the solution in debug mode to see which state the device is in?
