HID Keyboard for Ipad with CC2540

I am designing a HID keyboard with CC2540 for an Ipad. Following the example project "hidEmukbd" now I am able to be detected for the Ipad, to connected and also "type" anyword of the keyboard unless the functions keys (F1...F12).

That functiion keys (F1...F12) needs a HID Report diferent from a normal keyboard (for example the letter A)? Could anyone send through a HID keyboard for example the F12 key?
