WL1271 default pcm settings

My issue is that JB 4.3 uses the broadcom stack and not Bluez so the HCITool utility is not available to set the configuration parameters.

Do you know how these parameters are set using JB 4.3 and the broadcom stack ?

Do you know what the default configurations are for the WL1271 ?

Do you know if there is a way of editing the .bts file for the WL1271 to set the configurations offline ?

I have got the WL1271 device into SCO master mode (Codec) by using the command -

HCI_VS_Write_SCO_Configuration

I sent this command to the WL1271 by modifying the TI uim code when it sets the WL1271 baudrate.

Everything is working OK and I can make an SCO connection and play music over Bluetooth except that the music file plays at half speed. This I believe is something to do with converting the 128kbps, 8 khz, mono, PCM file to stereo somewhere in the Android system. Does anybody know where this file is being modified in Android and how to solve the issue ?

Some additional information.

I am using the default CODEC_config settings on the WL1271 and have NOT used the command -

HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config (0xFD06)

If I were to use this command and increase the frame sync frequency to 16 khz would this solve the problem ?

My issue with using this command is I don't know the default config values for the other 21 fields in HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config. Does anyone know what the default values are ?

There is nothing like default configuration. you need to fill the parameters that your codec is configured.

There must be something either at boot or in the loading of the .bts that sets some parameters since by "default" a 128 khz clock and 8 khz frame sync come out on the codec pins. Something is setting these values up at boot.

I have only have access to the LS Research TiWi-R2 module datasheet and these values are not published in this datasheet.

The datasheet for the WL1271 does not appear to be publicily available.
