Hello,

I'm trying to assembly the attached board using the CC2541 and the chip antenna with the Matched Balun 2450BM15A0002.

I think the free area in the antenna is too small and could affect the performance. However, this could eliminate the communication at all?

Hi JC,

Yes, the layout of the antenna does not look correct. You can verify how it should be in the antenna datasheet.

This will reduce the range, but it should not eliminate communication completely.
