CC2541 current consumption per 5dBm

Hello,

Please let me know the current consumption of CC2541 per 5dBm.
In datasheet, only 0dBm and -20 dBm power consumption.
I want to know the current consumption from 0dBm to -20dBm per 5dBm.

Hi Nomoto,

You can assume it is fairly linear. This can also easily be tested on a CC2541EM.

It's certainly not linear as the majority of the current delta happens in the step from -5dBm to 0dBm. Below is an average of a few parts measured showing the relationship between current and output power.

I stand corrected!

The difference between 0 dBm and -20 dBm is less than 1.5 mA though so it won't have a big impact on power consumption.
