How do I enable AFH on CC256x?

Using an over-the-air sniffer, we have seen that our Bluetooth does not change its hopping channels to avoid a nearby WiFi interferer.  The Bluetooth just continues to hop over all channels, including channels where the WiFi interference is.  We want to enable and use AFH, but we aren’t sure if we have to do something in the initialization file using Host Controller Interface (HCI) commands (perhaps vendor-specific HCI commands), or if it is handled in the Bluetooth stack and is a programmable function.
