Hello Fellow Engineers :-)

I'm working on a project using the LMX9838 Bluetooth Serial Port module.

So far I have had no problem at all with this module. It works very well.

Now I have stumpled upon a mysterious issue.

When transmitting data using the command interface and command SPP_SEND_DATA, I should be able to transmit a total payload of 330 bytes cf. the software users guide. If I transmit 330 bytes + the command interface around the data, the module simply does not respond. If I transmit e.g. 200 bytes, there's no problem at all. I have found the limit to be 252 bytes.

Thanks for bringing this to us.

Do you change the UART speed settings when you change the payloads?

And what patch are you using for the module?

Please also help provide the sample command interfaces you have for the different payloads.

No problem at all.

I do not change the UART speed since the speed is determined by the physical pins to be 115.200.

The module is using "Patch 2".

Can you explain your last sentence in another way? I don't understand :-)

Hi Christian,

Thanks for your prompt response. For the last sentence, I meant if you can send us a sample line code you tried to send for the >250 bytes payload, so we can make sure the commands sent are correctly phrased.
