Hi,

I have CC2540 Mini Development Kit. I am developing Android App using Android BLE API, with android device as in central (master) mode and CC2540 Keyfob as peripheral (slave) mode. As I know CC2540 Keyfod came along with preloaded KeyfobDemo which uses Profiles/Services such as :

Proximity Profile
- Link Loss Service
- Immediate Alert Service
- TX Power Level Service
Battery Service
Accelerometer Service
Simple Keys Service

For my Android app I need to know all UUIDs of above stated services and their characteristics. Also, tell me how can the consumer of CC2540 Mini Development Kit get these UUIDs?

Hello Yogesh,

You can use the CC2540 USB Dongle with BLE Device Monitor and connect to the SensorTag. Make sure to load the HostTestRelease firmware on to the dongle (i think it is already pre-loaded). you can look at the specific characterisitcs and find the UUID marked in a red rectangle box here:

The TI Base 128-bit UUID is: F0000000-0451-4000-B000-000000000000. All sensor services use 128-bit UUIDs, but for practical reasons only the 16-bit part is listed in the sensortag documentation. It is embedded in the 128-bit UUID as shown by example. Example: 0xAA01 maps as F000AA01-0451-4000-B000-000000000000.
