Unstable BLE connection in Android

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541

I am following the guidelines for developing in Android 4.3 for Bluetooth Low Energy.

When trying to connect to CC2541 from an Android phone, sometimes it will disconnect immediately after connect to BLE device like the following log

And sometime it will show the status of 129 or 133...

Does there has any method to solve it ?
  • I have the same problem, I test on some CC2541 and 1 nRF51822, and no problem of disconnect immediately is found in 51822, I,m not sure is it the bug of BLE-Stack-1.4.0.
  • On which TI CC2541 Reference HW do you observe this issue? The most common reasons for disconnects on custom HW are due to power or clock/crystal issues. If you disable POWER_SAVINGS and do not see the disconnect, then likely this is an issue with the 32 kHz crystal or related settings. Increasing HAL_SLEEP_ADJ_TICKS in hal_sleep.c may help as well.

    Best wishes
