The latency can only be controlled up to some extent by changing the bitpool (increasing its value). As it is dependent on the many things like remote device, environment you are testing..
The minimum latency where the user will not hear any audio break is around 80ms. This is mostly derived by the jitter buffer whose purpose is to overcome any interference.
In most headsets, this jitter buffer is around 300ms.
