BT_MSPAUDSINK

Hello

We are using the BT_MSPAUDSINK to make a proof of concept for a wireless audio system. We would like to try the A3DPDemo_SNK demo application. But neither with Code Composer 6.0 nor IAR 6.1 we are able to compile the projects delivered by TI.

We get errors like:

Error[e46]: Undefined external "AUD_Send_Remote_Control_Command" referred in A3DPDemo_SNK ( C:\ti\Connectivity\CC256X BT\CC256x MSP430 Bluetopia SDK\v1.4 R2\MSP430_Experimentor\Samples\A3DPDemo_SNK\

And lots more of undefined functions.

Why are the standard project not working properly?

The link you posted did solve my problem.

Now I'm facing a new problem. I'm trying to debug the Debug - A3DP SNK BOARD program. But when I start the debug session the BT_MSPAUDSINK will hit this infinite loop and stays there:

while(!WDTInterrupted)
__bis_SR_register(LPM0_bits+GIE);

I haven't changed anything to the code.

Any Idea why the standard firmware is'nt working?

Hi,

If i understand correctly.

You were able to download the project( Debug - A3DP SNK Board ) to the BT_MSPAUDSINK board, but was not able to use it correct?

have you stopped debugging and tried to connect to the board as per the link below http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_MSP430_Bluetopia_Basic_AssistedA2DPSinkDemo_APP#Sink_Reference_Board_Demo_Application

One more thing are you using Bluetopia version 1.4 R2?

Hello

Thank you for your response. The mcu was waiting for a active communication with bluetooth so that's why the debugger was waiting in the same place. So now the program is running fine.

I do use the Bluetopia version 1.4 R2.

We are a little afraid that the MSP F5229 will run low on flash for our application so we will try the other build for the MSP F5438A. There is also a sample program for this mcu in combination with Code composer studio. We would like to use Code composer studio.

But this sample application will also not run out of the box. It gives a error with the Hal.c file.

The sample is build for CCS 5 but we are using CCS 6. Are there some known issues between these versions?

Could you sent the demo IAR project for me? Thanks.

I complied the IAR Project ,but 5525 Flash is not enough.

I want to check the options set of the Project.

Hi,

If you are using CCS6 please make sure all the compiler and linker options are correct as the demos are built with CCS5 there might be problems importing it to CCS6.

please see "Hardware Porting Guidelines.pdf" file in the documentation folder "CC256x MSP430 Bluetopia SDK\v1.4 R2\Documentation".

Mind that you would require minimum of 128KB flash.
