I lave read the previous post that subject is CC2540 BLE Central Device Disconnect with Reason code 62. http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/538/t/208586.aspx. This post said that Reason 0x3E is "Connection Failed To Be Established" which could be due to bad link or bad connection parameters. How to avoid this disconnected happen. My system often disconnected with this issue. Thanks.

Hello John,

You will have to determine which of the two is causing the problem.

1. You can eliminate the bad link by testing the devices in close proximity to each other where the link quality should be 100%.

2. If disconnection still occurs, then you can make changes to the connection parameters (intervals, timeouts, etc.)

3. If you are still having disconnection problems then you will have to analyze your code to see if any processes are interfering with the BLE OSAL.

Thank you for your reply. I will try these ways to figure out if they can avoid this happen. By the way. Where can I find the meaning of disconnected code. for example, Reason 34, Reason 8, Reason 22. Thanks.

Hello John,

The official error codes according to the Bluetooth Core v4.0 can be found on page 344 of 1114 Part D.

I think it is may possibly be listed in one of the files in the BLE stack, can't remember exactly.
