Change in Behavior of Sniff mode

Hi,

We were using the 2.8 patch for the CC2564 and when the module gets a request to enter sniff mode, the LMP used to respond with PDU Not supported. After we switched to 2.10+ [ 2.10 2.12,2.14 ] patch the LMP doesn't respond at all and it causes the link to get disconnected.

We don't care about sniff mode for the time being and want the same behavior as sending a PDU Unsupported. Is there a way to get that behavior ? We tried the HCI defaults command to write the default value for SNIFF mode as not-supported but this flag doesn't seem to get honored.
