In CC2541, how to send or receive a string of data?

Hi,

I am using SimpleBLEPeripheral sample project.

Characteristic 1,2,3 are used to send/receive data of one byte and characteristic 5 is for a data of 5 bytes.

However, if I need to send/receive an entire string, what are the changes that I will have to make in SimpleBLEPeripheral project?
