Firmware Acceleration Issue

I believe there is an issue with the SensorTag firmware rev. 1.5. When my device is connected to my application, the magnitude of acceleration is 0.25 instead of 1g.

I have 2 SensorTag devices, one is running SensorTag firmware rev. 1.4 and the other is running SensorTag firmware rev. 1.5. There is clearly an issue with the firmware because when I run the SensorTag that has firmware revision 1.5, the magnitude is .25g at a static position. When I run the SensorTag that has firmware revision 1.4, the magnitude is 1g at static position.

I guess there is change in default range in sensor tag firmware.

First default range was 8G and Now if its 2G then data will always come as divided by 4.

Check your app also , what range is set there?

That is a very good point. That has to be what the issue is.

When I change the range to 8G in the application, the data works fine with the new firmware.
