We are using CC2540 hci over usb with GATT_DB_OFF_CHIP feature.

data transfer speed is about 1KB/sec (with min conn interval 7.25ms).

how can the speed be increased ?

The HCI-over-USB uses a USB CDC class, which has a limited speed unfortunately. We are looking into adding support for other USB classes in the future, though I cannot provide a schedule for this feature.
