Hi,

I have MSP430F5438 experimentors board and wl1831 ref module kits I want to run stonestreet one bluetopia stack

which I got from

http://www.ti.com/tool/stonestreetone-bt-sdk

on MSP430 and interface it with wl1831 module.

Can I directly interface wl1831 module by connecting UART tx and rx lines ?

What changes do I need to make to stack for making it work with wl1831 module ?

Hi,

using the WL1831 only for Bluetooth application is superfluous. The Bluetooth SDK is to be used with MSP430 and CC256x devices such as the CC2560.

Thanks for quick reply.

We are going to use WL1831 for BT+BLE+WiFi not just for bluetooth.

We are using OMAP processor running android. Since android does not have implementation of client roles for profiles like HFP we are planning to add a microcontroller (MSP430) which will run BT+BLE stack (stonestreet) between WL1831 and OMAP processor.

We have already tried digging for client roles of profiles implemented in Android but since we are on narrow timeline we are going with above option.

Is there any Bluetooth SDK for MSP430 with WL1831 ?

Can the existing SDK be modified to support WL1831 ?

I don't think we have any SDK for MSP430 with the Wi-Link device, but anyway I am moving this to the bluetooth forum to get in touch with the experts.

Hi,

As Leo mentioned we don't have any SDK for MSP430 with the Wi-Link device sales@stonestreetone.com

But if you just want to use only BT and BLE then you can go for CC2564B device for which we have the SDK for MSP430.
