Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62730

Dear TI Experts:

We caculate the battery life of our hardware according to document AN092. We use TPS62730 to extend the battery life.

The following picture is captured by oscilloscope, the waveform may be disturbed, but the waveform also with TPS62730 in document AN097 is very good.

We don't know why the waveform looks to be distrubed. We want to make sure if there is bug in our HW board, please give some suggestion。

Thanks a lot !

  • Cant you measure with your setup on a known good device (e.g. dev board from TI)? Your noise looks like pick-up form the scope, e.g. not good GND or shielding issue of measurement strip. Maybe its the switching frequency of the DC/DC converter (and here you have magnetic interference), so you may zoom in with you scope time base and see what frequency your "noise" really is. With no more details from your board, setup its difficult to speculate what the problem is.
