Keyfob_OAD_Problem

Hi all,

Currently I am trying OAD on Keyfob

steps I have followed

[1]Compiled and Programmed BIM on keyfob with ERASE+PROGRAM+VERIFY Option

[2]Compiled and Programmed SimpleBlePeripheral with ImageA on keyfob with APPEND+VERIFY Option using SmartRF Flash Programmer

[3]Now I am able to successfully transfer defalut .BIN with ImageB from TI-BLE SEnsor Tag application

Now my questiuon is whenever I disconnect and connect the Keyfob with my IPhone everytime it runs ImageA

always and not the imageB.I have tried everything like keepiong ImageB on keyfob and transfering ImageA over OAD

but of no use it runs the Old image only.

I have alos tried this scenario with my customized Program for keyfob but same result

what could be the problem

    Hi,

    Thank you for the quick response.

    I would also like to add one more scenario here

    [1]When I tested OAD using USB-Dongle and PC based application BLE Device monitor everything works fine

    the new image gets updated to keyfob and runs perfectly

    but the same scenario fails with Iphone using Sensor Tag Application.I have not tested this with Ipad but It should work with Iphone too...could be the problem with Connection Interval Parameter set for Sensor Tag,on which user dont have control to change.
