ComboRoles vs. RoleSwitching

Based off of my application either of these functionalities would help me accomplish my goal. Although at this point ComboRoles (periph + observe, central + broadcast) seems like the preferable course of action, my questions are:

1.  Based on experience or knowledge of these methods is one preferable/more friendly to get into a functional state?

2. Are there more bugs still being worked out with one over the other?

3. Have either of these been ported for use with 1.4, or would it be best to revert to TI BLE stack 1.3?

    This really depends on your application. They serve different purposes so it depends what you are trying to do.

    None that I'm aware that would affect you.

    It should not be difficult to port these and the stack fully supports these roles; however we have not done this or tested it with v1.4.0
