Simple BLE Peripheral issue

Hi, i'm new in the forum and with TI chips too. I've recently asked it on a post but i want to renew the post...

I want to know two things:

-In which file of SimpleBLEPeripheral Project can i find the variables in which i can change the UUID of the KeyFob?

-How can i change the name that appears in the IPAD? I tried to change the variable "attDeviceName" but still appears "Simple BLE Peripher"

1. What do you mean by UUID? If you want to change UUID of profile then you can change from Profiles only.

Do you mean MAC address?

2. For name , don't change attDeviceName, change characters in "scanRspData" array.

First of all thanks for ur reply.

1. Forget this question. I need to study the GATT. I ask that cause a friend talk to me about this and i didnt understand. First i will read GATT.

2. I change the name in scanRspData and attDeviceName and still appears Simple BLE peripher. Idk whats happening. U can see whats happening on the files

Hi,

The changes you have made is correct, So it should work.

Is your device paired with phone?

Try to unpair it and scan it again. Also try to scan with BLE device monitor.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

Its so wierd. If i scan with my Note 3, i can see "AlgezaresBLE" but if I scan with my Ipad i still see "Simple BLE Peripher" and they're not paired.

Apple's mysteries!! ^^
