Different advertising data on different channels

Is it possible to have 2 advertising data message on 2 different channels.

ADV DATA message1 on channel 37

ADV DATA message2 on channel 38

    Hello Fred,

    Yes it is possible.  If you are trying to relay 2 or 3 sets of data during the advertising interval without connecting, which would be convenient, the required time to execute the switching would defeat the purpose of what you are trying to accomplish.  To my knowledge you cannot switch to single channel mode or switch to a different channel without re-advertising.

    Also, the receiving device has to scans all 3 advertising channels.  From my understanding, you cannot do a single channel scan.  The mechanism for how this is done is outlined in the Bluetooth Core v4.0.  I can't remember all the details on how or why the controller selects when an advertisement is valid so you can do some research on it.
