Serial Bootloader timeout when verifying

Following "BLE Developer’s Guide for Over-the-Air Download for CC254x Version 1.2".

It works fine up to the actual OAD. The bin-file transfer using Serial Bootloader Demo Tool (V1.2) from PC to the SmartRF05 board is unable to complete. Data packets are sent OK but when the verifying phase starts, it's seems unstable and eventually ends up in a "Timeout waiting for response from target"-message. The verified packets count before timeout varies.

Using a USB-to-serial port (COM26) with hardware handshake and a full RS-232 serial cable.

Anyone seen this before? Anyone got a solution?

Could you clarify if you are using the OADManager application? We are not aware of any issues.

Yes, we're using the OADManager application. Got the same behavior when transferring the sample code and our own application. Also tried two different SmartRF05 boards with two different CC2540EM boards.

Note that the number of packets verified before the timeout occurs varies, even if the transferred bin-file is the same.

Seems like the problem is in the USB-to-serial converter or its driver. With another converter on another machine, everything works fine.
