I think I killed the accelerometer...

I've been working through some of the examples in the new O'Reilly book on BLE, all of which read from the accelerometer, and it has stopped working. the app only shows "*". I've tried turning it off and on from the settings menu, running the app on a different android phone, and even pulling out the battery for a hard reset.


Nothing.

All of the other sensors work just fine. What could I have done, and how can I recover it?

    Unless you have reprogrammed the SensorTag, the Accelerometer should still work.  You may have disabled the reading of the values in your app.  Try doing a complete powering down of you iOS or android device.

    Also, try using a different app to view the SensorTag.
