CC2564 BLE Max packets per connection interval

Hi,

Customer is asking how many packets can be transmitted on CC2564 per connection interval (on BLE connection).

Or more specifically what they are interested is that as iOS supports up to 6 packets per connection interval, is CC2564 able for the same? Meaning that CC2564 would not be the bottleneck from throughput point of view.

Hi,

Yes it is supported. How many packets can be sent depend on size of the packet and connection interval, please see the Bluetooth Specification for more details.

Keep in mind that the TP will differ, depending on the environment(usually tested in shield room) you are testing, Baudrate, buffer size...

Hi Sundeep,

Thanks for picking my post. Yes I forgot to mention that I assume max size packets here (28 bytes with 20 bytes of payload). But based on your answer I suppose it should not be a problem as long as transfer window length is long enough to fit these six packets.
