The CC2564 reference design recommend the Murata Balun p/n LFB212G45SG8C341, but that balun is not stocked by any distributor.

Is balun p/n LFB212G45SG8C341 really being used in the CC2564MODN module?

What other Balun options work with the CC2564?

Since the LFB212G45SG8C341 is not available, there must be some other options.

I don't think it is used for CC2564MODN, You can get the BOM details from design files http://www.ti.com/product/CC2564MODN/technicaldocuments

Hi Wilson,

It looks like the CC2564MODN uses an impedance matching network instead of the balun mentioned in the reference design being worked from. Is this an alternate way to match the antenna with the CC2564?

Using a discrete balun circuit is an alternate method over the integrated device.

Since the Murata Balun is not available please share that discrete circuit used in the CC2564 module?

The discrete balun circuit in the module will get me 90% to the final design, and I can tweak it after receiving prototypes.

I was hoping to go with an integrated balun, but it sounds like I need to go discrete.

Hi,

You can contact Murata directly to obtain the BPF filter listed in the reference design. Also, you can use the LFB212G45SG8A127 BPF filter from Murata but there may be some penalty in performance. This filter is available through standard distribution channels.
