FCS error during communication between CC2541 and CC2540 USB dongle

Dear TI,

I`m using packet sniffer to test bluetooth communication between CC2541 chip and CC2540 USB dongle.

I noticed there were lots of FCS ERRORs during the communication, especially when someone is passing by the CC2541 chip.

What are the causes of these errors and how to reduce the errors?

    Keep in mind that when you see an "FCS error" on the packet sniffer, it could be that the BLE communication between the two devices is actually good, and the sniffer just misread bits when sniffing.

    In general these can occur if you have a noisy environment or if there is something physically degrading the signal on the board. You can use software such as SmartRF Studio to verify the RF performance of your board.
