handling BT 2.1 + EDR connection & UART

then what I get from the master application exactly I send by UART to Slave device, then the Slave UART send back to me an answer that I have to return it back by BT.

I have the BT-MSPAUDSINK, that have MSP4305229 connected to the CC2564B.

just now I see that they are connected via UART! according to Hardware Porting GuidLines.pdf.

is this the only UART Module that the the MSP4305229 have?

so it cannot communicate with outside device serially (PC for example as Vertual COMPort)?

[Answer ] You can communicate from PC to the MSP430F5229 using J15.

maybe this hardware is not what I really need?

so can you suggest for me the best solution that I can depend on for my app (handling BT 2.1, and send/receive on UART to external device).

[Answer ] If you can do the software porting, you can use this device as well. If not you can you any Bluetooth Evaluation boards with the EVM Platform from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_EVM_Platform

and so what is the meaning of SPPDemo when we say Serial Port Profile? is that means the serial communication with the CC2564B via UART or external Device?

mainly my question is:

can I keep handling in the same time

1) BT communication.

2) UART with PC.

just I wondering if really the MSP430F5229 has just one UART module? so I can make connection just with PC or just with CC2564B at tha same time?!

Hi,

You can use them both at the same time. MSP430F5229 has two UART ports.

please see the sink board semantics http://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidr278/tidr278.pdf , J15 is from UART 1 and the BT interface is from UART 0.
