Hello everyone!
I recently purchased a CC2540 Wireless Connectivity Development Kit and would like to make it do a simple thing. Broadcast itself (I believe its called advertising) with a custom name for example "My Bluetooth Device". However, I am new to all of this although I am a software developer this is all new to me. I own a mac so I think I will have to get a windows computer and then download the "ble stack" and somehow run some code on the device to make it do this? If there are any good resources for people with no experience with these devices or if you know how I would basically go about doing this please let me know, thanks!
