Bluetooth SIG has officially announced Bluetooth 4.2. My question is your CC2540,CC2541 BLE chips supports Bluetooth 4.2?

Else we have to wait for chips which support Bluetooth 4.2?

You have any BLE chips which support Bluetooth 4.2!

Hi Kiran,

The CC2540/41 will not support BLE 4.2 due to the increased security features required.

It will also take quite some time until there are computers and phones supporting Bluetooth 4.2 and it is likely that most devices available will only support Bluetooth 4.0/4.1 at least for the next 12 months.

The CC2540/1 can't and won't support 4.2 or 4.1

To expand on this topic do TI have any info for their roadmap that they can share with regards to bluetooth 4.2

4.2 contains some featues that I'd like to take advantage of regarding faster data transfer for larger blocks of data
