Hi all,

I have a cc2541 keyfob and a ccDebuger.

But when I connected ccDebuger to cc2541 keyfob then execute SmartRF Sniffer, nothing happened.

Can any one tell me how to sniff the packet through cc2541 keyfob?

As I know, you should use CC2540 for sniffer.

By the user manual (SWRU187) for SmartRF Packet Sniffer, Page 6 shown the example for using ccDebuger.

If I want to sniffing cc2541 keyfob, what should I do?

You can refer to in section 1.1 Protocol of SWRU187. You will see the capture device for BLE are in the followings.

It might be possible that you try to download FW sniffer_fw_cc2540.hex (under C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Packet Sniffer\bin\general\firmware\) to your CC2541. Then, wire UART TX/RX to a level shifter and connect to COM port of your PC.
